Dr. John Garol was born in Oklahoma City and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Garol graduated from Thomas Edison High School in Tulsa and decided to pursue his undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Garol went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery certificate from Baylor University, College of Dentistry.

After graduating from Baylor University he became a commander for the United States Navy. For two years he practiced general dentistry while he was stationed at M.C.R.D. in San Diego, California.

Shortly after leaving the Navy he moved to Los Angeles and attended the University of California, Los Angeles School of Orthodontics and graduated in 1974. Dr. Garol started his own orthodontic practice in West L.A. He was also a former clinical professor at U.C.L.A. School of Orthodontics while practicing orthodontics at his own private practice.

Dr. Garol attends numerous continuing education courses and professional meetings throughout the year to further advance his knowledge of state of the art orthodontic treatments. Dr. Garol is a certified provider for Invisalign. Dr. Garol treats both children and adults, he prides himself in offering his patients individualized treatment attention and a wide variety of options. It is never too late and it’s rarely too early to enjoy the many benefits associated with braces. Regardless of age, we don’t have to live with less than perfect teeth.

Dr. Garol is a member of Pacific Coast Society Of Orthodontics and the American Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Garol is married with children. In his spare time he enjoys computer sciences, reading and traveling.
